Acting on behalf of Kingward Investments Limited, Drake Commercial have just re-let a 74,000 sq ft unit at Glebe Farm, Rugby.  The new tenant is Britvic Limited, the blue chip international drinks company, who have been established at Glebe Farm for over 45 years.  Their brands include Pepsi, Tango, 7 Up, J20 and Robinsons.

The new 10 year lease has a been taken at the headline rent of £4.50 per sq ft which reflects the recent growth in rents for the slightly older buildings.  The unit is 35 years old and has an eaves height of 6 metres.  Joint agents were TDB. 

Drake Commercial report that this 74,000 sq ft letting follows quickly on the heels of another deal on Unit 1 at Consul Road, a 43,000 sq ft unit on the adjoining Midland Industrial Estate.  Unit 1 is a 45 year old building that has been let by Drake Commercial on behalf of Industrious and the new tenant is Sam’s Transport.  The headline rent achieved was £4.25 per sq ft.
