Drake Commercial have seen an increase in activity and have overseen a number of lettings at Manor Business Park in the past few months. Unit 6, which comprised a total of 18,500 sq ft, has been pre-let in two parts to Resource Secure Recovery Ltd (12,500 sq ft) and Horsebox Seller Ltd (6,000 sq ft).
We have also completed the letting of one of the existing units from Phase 1 comprising 6,000 sq ft to Vision Home Solutions Ltd, who have relocated from High March, Daventry, where they had been established for a number of years.
This recent activity has given confidence to begin speculatively building two further new units to cater for the increased demand and lack of stock within the surrounding towns. The units have been constructed to a very high standard with 7 metre eaves, fully fitted office/canteen areas and LED lighting to the warehouse. There are also large yard areas in front of the units. Unit 5, which totals 15,000 sq ft is due for practical completion within the next month and we currently in discussions with a number of parties to take the unit on.
Such is the demand that our client is also currently working up schemes for a further 10,000 sq ft development which will commence in September of this year, with completion anticipated to be Q2 2018. As well as this, build-to-suit properties of between 1,000 and 30,000 can be accommodated at Manor Business Park. The high specification of build quality, combined with pleasant working environment and fast internet access, are just a few reasons that Manor Business Park is proving popular amongst applicants.
