On behalf of our clients Stepnell, we are delighted to confirm the letting of Clifton House Rugby to The Air Ambulance Service (TAAS). Clifton House comprises just under 10,000 sq ft of good quality, modern office space and is completely self contained on its own site. The deal represents the largest single open market office letting in Rugby in 2016.
The Air Ambulance Service are relocating from their current operation in Princethorpe, where they have been since their relocation from Coventry Airport in 2010. The organisation runs two separate services for both ‘Warwickshire and Northamptonshire’ and ‘Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland’. It also operates the recently launched Children’s Air Ambulance. Clifton House is able to support their continued growth and offering as an organisation.
Owners and original developers of Clifton House, Stepnell, agreed a bespoke programme of works with TAAS, including the provision of new LED lighting throughout the property.
Edward Wakeford of Stepnell has welcomed the letting:
We are delighted to welcome The Air Ambulance Service to Clifton House. We are continuing to invest in Rugby and the wider area and the inward relocation by TAAS is a sign of the town’s credentials. We are currently looking to develop our existing site on Lawford Road, which we hope brings further occupiers into Rugby.
Emily Magdij, Press Officer for The Air Ambluance Service confirmed:
“Our charity was delighted to choose Rugby because of its central location and great transport links. As our volunteers need to come and visit us, being near public transport and in an easily accessible location is important to us.
“Stepnell and Drake Commercial have been extremely helpful and we are very pleased to have worked with them.”
