Drake Commercial are delighted to confirm the letting of 1&2 Stephenson Close to Brian James Trailers.
1&2 Stephenson Close is a high eaves warehouse facility comprising 50,000 sq ft, located on the Drayton Fields Industrial Estate. The property had previously long been occupied by a removals and storage firm who relocated and the landlord has subsequently refurbished the unit to present to the market. The property benefits from a large yard and both dock and ground level loading.
Brian James Trailers are a long standing Daventry occupier, who (as the name might suggest) are one of the market leaders in the design and manufacture of road trailers. The space has been taken in addition to their existing operations on nearby Sopwith Way, as they grow their presence in the town.
On behalf of the landlord, Peter Gerson welcomed their new tenant: “We are delighted to welcome Brian James Trailers to the buildings and wish them every success”.
Lewis James, Managing Director of Brian James Trailers said: “We are delighted to have acquired the lease on these units as part of our expansion plan. They will be in addition to our existing three units in Daventry and reaffirms our commitment to the town, as our manufacturing base for many years to come. We would like to thank Tom and his team at Drake Commercial for their help on this exciting project”.
Tom Drake, Partner at Drake Commercial confirmed: “This is another example of the increasingly strong mid box market, not just in Daventry but in the wider region. We are really pleased to have secured a letting to a company with such strong roots in the town”.
