Acting on behalf of Royal London Asset Management, Drake Commercial have completed a number of lettings at Brackmills Gateway in Northampton. Along with our joint agents, TDB Real Estate, we have completed 3 new lease deals over the past few months.
Thames Ambulance Service Ltd (TASL) have agreed a new lease at Unit 15 Scotia Close on a 5 year term. TASL have won a contract to supply ambulances to the NHS in the Northampton area.
Local scaffolding company Access 2 Ltd have taken a lease at 4 Weddell Way which comprises 13,064 sq ft. Trading under the name, Sandwell Scaffolding, they have been on Brackmills for well over 30 years and recent growth has necessitated a larger premises.
Finally a deal has been completed to global courier company, Hemes, who will run a local depot from the newly refurbished unit.
Since purchasing Brackmills Gateway last year, our clients have comprehensively refurbished the vacant units to an excellent standard. Consequently we have seen rents increase by over 45% in the past year.
Unit 1 Scotia Close, 19,209 sq ft and Unit 11 Scotia Close are now vacant and in the process of being comprehensively refurbished. We are seeing very strong interest in these units and expect to be in a position to announce further success shortly.
